TUESDAY MORNING

It's misting outside today,
the trip to Asheville NC we've planned may
need to be postponed.

Sunday was a pretty day.
Saturday and Sunday were the closest
we've come to an all day
Spring day.

Everything is waking up
in the garden.
How I long for those days
to be out early
and just play.

The hyacinths at the back door
are giving off
the loveliest scent right now.

Playing in the garden will have to wait
for another day.
Maybe Asheville
will to.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

THAT OLD WOODEN CANE

Have you ever been in a junk store
treasure shopping
and seen some old wooden canes standing in the corner?
Usually they're just a couple of bucks.

I've found a fabulous was to use them
and to add some fun to
the garden.

They are the perfect size for a pot trellis.
  Just tie them together
and stick them in.
This pot has a little bit of everything
in it, but the Morning Glory
 is loving its climb.

Happy gardening!

LAYERS OF LUSH!

I haven't seen that much of the world,
but of what I have seen,
Isola Bella
 in Northern Italy
 is the most beautiful place
in the world.

You approach by water because it is an island.
My first view was of the palace side.
and it is beautiful to be sure.

But then...
I saw the GARDEN.

This is what I imagine Heaven to be.

From every spot ,
the view is breathtaking.

You are surrounded by beauty
and lushness.

Every turn surprises and delights.

OMG!
If you ever get the chance to visit
don't pass it up.

AFTER THE RAIN

One of the great things about a
rainy day, is how good the garden
looks right afterwards.

I love to grab a cup of coffee and
just stroll a around.

The greens look greener
and the yellows more yellow.
Everything is so vibrant.

I like to contemplate
what's next
on the never ending
gardening "to do" list.

Can't wait to get started!
Happy Gardening.
