THAT OLD WOODEN CANE

Have you ever been in a junk store
treasure shopping
and seen some old wooden canes standing in the corner?
Usually they're just a couple of bucks.

I've found a fabulous was to use them
and to add some fun to
the garden.

They are the perfect size for a pot trellis.
  Just tie them together
and stick them in.
This pot has a little bit of everything
in it, but the Morning Glory
 is loving its climb.

Happy gardening!

MORNING GLORY

Every year I plant some blue Morning Glory seeds and hope
for an explosion of blue in my garden...
it doesn't happen.
I planted four packs of seeds this year and this is the only
bloom I've seen of them.

I do, how ever, have morning glories that I didn't plant.

They just spring up in various places and wrap themselves
around what ever is handy.

I'm not complaining...just saying.

Happy Labor Day.

GARDEN ACCESSORIES

I've been out walking the garden to see what's blooming on these cool
October days and nights.
Here's some Hardy Begonia.

A little Goldenrod.

Pretty pink Roses.

Purple Asters.

Pink Morning Glory.

As I was strolling I started looking at all my garden accessories and wondering...
...do I have too many?

A painted rock, I did myself.

An artist I'm not!

A cast-away basket.

A broken plant stake I've added twigs for antlers.

Twig baskets hung in trees.

My five dollar yard sale find.

Another old bench that's not sturdy enough for sitting.

My toad house made from a broken pot.

Little wicker bird houses.

One of five kitty statues.

Two of five.

My pop of blue, blue bird house.

Bird stake.

And then I think...no, I don't have too much.

My garden ROCKS!

Happy Gardening.
