Susan is away on a quick road trip.
I've been perusing blog land this past week and have
hit on some interesting inspiration.
Cindy's Show and Tell from My Romantic Home had a participant,
Cindy's Show and Tell from My Romantic Home had a participant,
that did a post on PB Knock Off Candles. Loved the post,
but what I really loved was she sent you to a site where you can
download music paper.
This past Fall while visiting my brother and sister-in-law Terry,
she gave me this gift. It's a hand made ornament she made using
pages from an old book and rubber stamps.
She was my second inspiration for this Sunday
afternoon project.
Isn't it amazing what you can do with paper, scissors, ink and time.
My niece, Kate gave me this Bird & Nest rubber stamp kit.
Kate knows how much I love birds, she was sure I would find
a use for it. Thank you Kate.
I took some brown craft paper I had in my closet and started stamping.
I used the music paper I had downloaded and printed
and cut out egg shapes in various sizes
(music & birds just go together).
I didn't bother using any glue. I tied all my pieces together with
some red yard I snagged from Susan's stash.
I've been charged with decorating the front porch tree for our
Holiday Show and Sale.
What could be more fitting for a Fiber Art Show
than ornaments made of
paper and string.
