I saw my first robin today.
I turned into the neighborhood
and there they were,
fifty or so.
Scratching in the yards for some favorite treat.
Bathing in a puddle of water in the street.
It was a glorious site.
It gives me hope.
Spring will be coming soon.
Before long,
it will be all around us.

We use to see robins in Oklahoma more than we do here in Texas. You should join up with Modern Country Style's Cottage Party for tomorrow. I've already posted for it.

It's funny how you have to look for them on the ground and not in the air.

Lovely pictures! Spring is hidden deep under 2 ft of snow over here yet! No robins, only cardinals and woodpeckers and HUGE CROWS! I do enjoy spring photos - keep em coming!
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE robins. They always seem so friendly....but apparently they're incredibly terratorial and aggressive with each other.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous photos. Thank you so much for linking up.

We've had quite a number of Robins, Bluebirds, Cardinals, Finches and Bluejays! Sounds like an aviary outdoors - I have daffodils, helleboros, narcissus and more budding! Spring is around the corner!
