There are so many to choose from,
I didn't have a clue.
I just decided on a random selection
and go from there.
They featured them as a Christmas ornament.

but I wanted to play around with them now.

I stole her idea of buying globes from CB.
Some sources say to mist them weekly
Some sources say to mist them weeklyothers say to dunk them in water and give
them a shake. Everything I've read suggests
using non-chlorinated water.
I hope to hang them somewhere...
but I'm not there yet.

They are wonderful. I can just picture them hanging over my kitchen sink. I just might have to try that. Oh what a great idea. Thanks for sharing. Lisa
ReplyDeleteThese are so sweet! They remind me of terrariums from a few years ago and I know they are making a big comeback!
ReplyDeleteThey are so neat looking--especially the one that is already blooming. I love the idea of using the globes. I saw that BH&G article too and then promptly forgot about it. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

I have a few tillandsias in the garden and i love them so much as they are wonderful and easy to take care. 90 cent is far to cheap, i bought mine (the 90 cent type) at RM15, but they propagated to give me 5 babies :) The purple flower is so beautiful. Putting it in the xmas ornaments is a good idea. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWow, those are sooo neat. I have never heard of any such thing. Thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your new found treasure. Hanging them in a window where the suns rays hit the globes would be simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! It will be interesting to see how/what these little plant do.
ReplyDeleteBest,
