I’ve christened my backyard garden, the Catbird Garden. The garden plays host to both, the feline and the bird. I try to have catmint in the garden every year to delight the neighborhood cats as well as my own sweet puss, Dixie. Several bird feeders are scattered throughout the grounds to keep all those lovely songbirds coming back again and again. I’m always on the lookout for unique cat and bird statues during my shopping expeditions. My goal is to always position them in unexpected places so the casual onlooker is surprised. I am a firm believer in editing your garden art and using only those pieces that you truly love.
